Given the importance of changes in the surrounding environment on regional security and the need to research possible scenarios in the future of the region, the present study attempts to examine the impact of a hypothetical and probable democratic revolution in Bahrain on the security of the Persian Gulf region using a descriptive-analytical method, using data collected from the library that were analyzed using the content analysis method, and using the theoretical framework of the Copenhagen School and the theory of the regional security complex. The main question of the present study is what impact will the occurrence of a democratic revolution in Bahrain and the fall of the Al Khalifa regime have on the security of the Persian Gulf region? The results of the present study show that Bahrain is a member of the Gulf States faction, and any regime change in this country and the possible rise of the Shiite majority will cause radical changes in Bahrain's foreign and security policy, and this will cause a rift in the Gulf Cooperation Council. The increase in Shiite power in the Persian Gulf region, Bahrain's separation from the Saudi security network, and the weakening of Saudi Arabia's position in the Persian Gulf region, the weakening of American and British influence in Bahrain, and possibly Bahrain's turn towards Iran are other possible outcomes of a hypothetical but possible democratic revolution in Bahrain.
