English

The Gaza war, which took place after the Al-Aqsa storm operation, has caused many concerns regarding the future of the region and the possibility of its turning into an all-encompassing war with global consequences. Regional and global actors, each according to their preferences, of course, in an atmosphere full of uncertainty and unpredictable events of war, have adopted positions and taken approaches. As an important global player, Russia has always enjoyed good relations with both Hamas and Israel, and this war has presented many complex challenges and opportunities to Moscow. Based on this, the main question of the research is that Russia's foreign policy towards the Gaza war was affected by what factors, in what form of policies was it manifested and how can it be explained? The hypothesis of the research is proposed as follows: The Ukraine war and factors related to it, including things such as the conflict of interests with the West, have been the most important factors affecting Russia's approach to this war, and although Russia has adopted humanitarian diplomatic positions in condemning the war in relation to the Gaza crisis, it can be argued this way. whose approaches have been based on trying to continue this war (although not in such a way that its expansion threatens Russia's interests). The method of analytical-explanatory research and the method of data collection is library.
